A note from our founders
Hello, I'm Matthew!
I worked together in the financial industry before I left to start my first tech venture. Back in the days when I was a kid, I remembered how the local community was well connected and looked after one another. Ironically, with the rise of the Internet and mobile phones, we are losing this important connection within the Hong Kong community.
To regain the connection amongst our neighbours, I built the early version of the Social Career app. Thanks to the support of our early partner NGOs, who approached us to utilise our platform to help them find volunteers, Social Career was born.
Today, we are building a platform not only to help NGOs find volunteers and ways for people to give back, but to help volunteers find joy and purpose in their lives, their own Social Careers.
